Need cash when the Credit Union is closed? Out of the area and need cash fast? Get a CFCU ATM card today! Make life a little easier for yourself. This card provides you with quick access to your cash, and there are plenty of free ATMs across the nation to serve your needs through the CO-OP Network. You can make withdrawals, transfers, deposits, and inquiries.
With a Debit Card, you can also use your card to make purchases at many merchants, which use a point-of-sale terminal. Slide your card, and select "Credit" to complete your transaction. This service is available anywhere Debit Mastercard is accepted.

As an added security feature to both our ATM & Debit Cards, your card usage is monitored for suspicious activity. In the event that a suspicious transaction comes through, you will receive a phone call from Falcon, our monitoring service. You will be asked to verify the transaction. In the event the transaction cannot be verified, your card will be declined. We encourage you to make sure Christian Financial has an accurate telephone number where you can best be reached at in case of this event. A cell phone number is highly recommended if you plan on traveling and using your ATM or Debit Card.

PIN Reversals: Misinformation Could Lead to Safety Issues
The Internet can often quickley spread "urban myth stories, such as the myth regarding PIN reversal to signal duress. PIN reversal technology is a concept based upon the possibility that a cardholder could remember (and reverse) his or her PIN at an ATM to draw attention in a dangerouse situation like a kidnapping or a robbery. Critics say that it is unlikely that anyone under these circumstances could successfully employ this technique without compromising personal safety.
Financial institutions within the United States have not deployed this technique despite several convincing email chain letters that have misstated this fact.

What is a CFCU Debit MasterCard?
It’s a card that gives you all the benefits of an ATM Card, plus this added bonus: You can use it to make purchases. Just present your card, sign the receipt, and the purchase amount will be deducted from your checking account.
Can I really use my card for purchases without paying interest charges?
Yes. Since the money for your purchase comes directly out of your checking account, there are no interest charges unless you access your overdraft line of credit.
Are there any fees to use the card?
No. This card is FEE FREE. When you make a purchase at a merchant you may be prompted to choose between a “debit” and a “credit” transaction. Please choose “CREDIT”.
Is it safe?
Absolutely! You’ll have $0 liability for any unauthorized transaction… and carrying your card is much safer than carrying cash.
What other benefits will I enjoy?
Your CFCU Debit MasterCard can get you out of checkout lines fast because you won’t have to wait for check approvals. Every purchase will be listed on your monthly checking account statement, which can simplify your record keeping.
