Now you can access your accounts via your mobile device! If you have a Smart Phone, you now have access to downloadable apps for your iPhone or Droid! Additionally, if you have the ability to browse the Internet from your phone, you can use our WAP site. If you would prefer simple text-based information, our SMS messaging service is here to help, too!

About the App

If you have a Smart Phone (iPhone, Android, Blackberry), you now have access to a downloadable app. Inside the app, you can view balances and history, transfer funds between accounts (within the same account number), make loan payments and pay bills if you are enrolled in our CheckFree Online Bill Payment System.

After enrolling in Mobile Banking through CFCU's Online Banking site and downloading the app, you will see an icon for "Touch Banking" on your phone. Simply touch the icon to launch the app and input the same password that you use for online banking and you are ready to go!

To enroll, you have to go through online banking to register by selecting "Services" and then "Mobile". The App is not available by going straight to the App Store.

ANDROID USERS PLEASE NOTE:

Prior to attempting to download the app, please sign into your Google account on your phone. Otherwise your download process will be disrupted and you will be prompted to log in and start again.

SPRINT/T-MOBILE USERS PLEASE NOTE:

Some Sprint/T-Mobile users have been experiencing issues receiving activation texts because the carrier is preventing system-generated texts from coming through. If you do not receive your enrollment texts for any version of Mobile Banking, you will need to contact your carrier to have them allow these texts to come through because your carrier is blocking them like they are SPAM.

About WAP

WAP is a browser-based version of mobile banking. It has all the same features as the app, but there is nothing to download. If you prefer to use the WAP, you would simply bookmark the link to the WAP site (your personal URL will come via text after you enroll) and browse to it when you want to use online banking. Your User ID and password will be the same as you use for online banking.

About SMS

SMS is text banking. Anyone, even if you don't have a Smart Phone, can use text banking as long as you are able to receive text messages on your phone. With the SMS service, you can quickly get your balances and recent account history.

SMS Text Alerts

Once enrolled in Mobile Banking, members can opt to have their E-Alerts sent via text! Simply visit the E-Alerts menu in online banking, add a new alert, and check the box labeled "SMS". You can go back into existing alerts and check the "SMS" box, too!

Mobile Banking FAQs

Q. How do I enroll?

A. You can enroll in Mobile Banking by visiting the "Services" menu in online banking and selecting "Mobile". Once there, you'll have the option of enrolling in the app, WAP, SMS, and Alerts. You can select all or some of the available options. After making your selections, you'll be prompted to input your mobile number, and will be immediately sent an activation code via text. Once you receive the code, you will input it on the next screen in online banking in the box labeled "Activation Code". You will then receive a series of texts based on which options you have enrolled in. If you select the app, multiple texts will come through. One text has a link to download the app. After downloading the app, go back to your texts and look for a text that has the link to activate the app. Click on the activation link and the app will launch!

If you choose the WAP, a text will come through with a custom link that you will need to bookmark in order to use the WAP site. That link is specific to you. You can simply click that link and activate the WAP site (browser-based).

If you choose SMS, you will be sent a text with information about the text codes to use to get information about your account.

Q. What if I have more than one account?

A. Mobile does not allow cross/shared accounts today. Mobile will also only allow one account per device. There is currently no way to access multiple accounts via mobile.

Q. I have a Droid and the app is not automatically downloading when I click the link to download. Why?

A. Make sure you're signed into your Google Account. Droid users must be signed in to be able to download the ap.

Q. What if I accidentally deleted the texts that had the enrollment links in them?

A. Contact CFCU at 586.772.6330 or MemberService@cfcumail.org and we can resend you the links.
