MCCCU Merger Information

As we get closer to the official data conversion of Motor City Co-Op Credit Union (MCCCU) and Christian Financial Credit Union, our employees are hard at work making the transition as simple as possible. Below is an outline of our conversion weekend, including important information regarding accessibility and re-opening. 

FRIDAY All branches, Online and Mobile Banking and Audio Tellers (Both Speedyline and FAST Audio) will be unavailable beginning at 5:00 PM. FRIDAY - SATURDAY All branches, Online and Mobile Banking and Audio Tellers will remain unavailable over the weekend. Debit and Credit cards will still operate Members will still have access to their accounts via ATM.

Online and Mobile Banking and FAST Audio Teller will be available. All branches will re-open for service at 9:00 AM. MSC will be available at 8:30 AM. MOTOR CITY MEMBERS: Log in to CFCU's Online Banking using your existing username and the last 6 digits of your social security number as your password. WAIT. ACTIVATE. UPDATE | Activate your new CFCU debit cards using the phone number located on the sticker on the front of the new card.

In addition to conversion weekend staff has been preparing for our data conversion for many months. We are excited to share a brief timeline on what MCCCU members can expect in regards to our merger.  

October	|	MCCCU Credit Cardholders will transition to CFCU Credit Cards. More information will be sent to you soon.
September 9	|	This is the last day that bill pay items will be processed in the current bill pay system.
August 31	|	MCCCU Credit Cardholders traveling in September or October need to submit travel notices by this date.
August	|	Christian Financial ATM/Debit cards will be arriving in the mail from August 27 - September 4.
July 31	|	MCCCU Debit Cardholders traveling in August or September need to submit travel notices by this date.
July 15	|	MCCCU Members should submit any necessary address or phone number updates to avoid disruptions to receiving your new cards.
July	|	Members can expect to receive a welcome packet in July with product and service information as well as a timeline to keep members up to date.
April 1	|	Motor City Co-Op Credit Union and Christian Financial Credit Union have merged.
