CHURCH SOLUTIONS

Christian Financial Credit Union branch locations are outfitted with a variety of convenient services that make managing your church's finances even easier. We are there for you when you need us.

Who is Christian Financial?

CFCU began in 1950 as St. Jude’s Parish Credit Union in Detroit Michigan. Over time, the credit union has continued to grow. In 1998, a merger between SERF Credit Union and Northeast Catholic Credit Union formed Christian Financial as we know it today. In January, 2003, CFCU merged with Father Murray Federal Credit Union and St. Mark’s Parish Credit Union. In October 2013, CFCU merged with ARC Credit Union. Most recently, CFCU merged with Motor City Co-op Credit Union in April 2020.

We have now grown to more than 61,000 members and currently service Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, and St. Clair Counties.

With over 70 years of partnership in the faith-based community throughout Metro Detroit, Christian Financial Credit Union is uniquely positioned to serve your financial needs. While our business has grown, we have remained closely connected to our roots in area churches. Our history has proven our commitment – merging with other parish credit unions over time to expand our offerings in customized, church-centered products and services, as well as being a resource to support our faith partners through charitable giving.

Not only does Christian Financial have active and successful relationships with our churches, but we also partner with faith-based private schools, such as De La Salle Collegiate High School. There we provide a supplement to an in school banking course where students learn the ins and outs of the banking industry while getting the opportunity to work beside Christian Financial staff in branch.

What can we do for your church?

We are driven to provide our faith-based members with financial solutions that offer flexibility, opportunity, and security. And through a trusted partnership, the ability to reach your best financial future.
