CFCU in the Community

Making a difference at community events and in local charities.

Christian Financial table in the KidZone at Sterlingfest 2015At Christian Financial Credit Union, community support is always a top priority. We want to support our members not only in their personal finances, but by making your community a better place to live. Did you know that you can often find Christian Financial representatives at local events from the Warren Birthday Bash, to Sterlingfest, to After 6 on Kercheval in Grosse Pointe Park? We support and attend events not only where our branches are located, but where our members live.

In addition to supporting community events, Christian Financial prides itself in our strong charitable contributions. Each month, employees donate money to support a local charity in order to participate in a dress down day. Members are welcome to join us in supporting these charities by making donations in branches. In 2015 alone, credit union members and employees have contributed over $7,500 to local charities including the Shades of Pink Foundation, which supports breast cancer patients and survivors and research efforts; the National Kidney Foundation, supporting research for cancer and other diseases that affect the kidneys; Operation Sponsor A Box, sending care packages to armed forces members on their tour of duty; Big Family of Michigan, supporting children in the foster care system and granting their Christmas wishes; and so many more! Along with the monetary support, countless donations of school supplies, care package items, toys, and other donations have been made to these organizations. 20150811_154955_resized.jpg
