THURSDAY, APRIL 22
This year’s Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be located at our headquarters in Sterling Heights, 35100 Van Dyke Ave, Sterling Heights, MI 48312.
Three positions on our Board of Directors are up for election at the Annual Meeting. Each position is a three-year term and will begin following the Annual Meeting. In accordance with the credit union’s bylaws, the Nominating Committee has nominated the following individuals for three-year terms on the Board of Directors: Fred Andary, James Banaszak, and Jeff Malacko.
Additional nominations for the Board of Directors may be made by petition, signed by a minimum of three hundred (300) Christian Financial Credit Union members. A separate petition must be completed and submitted for each nomination. Each nominee must submit with the petition a statement of qualifications, biographical data and a certificate signed by the nominee stating he/she is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office. Members who are interested in running or nominating another member should contact Lisa Simonis, Nominating Committee Chairperson, at 586.498.3084. Nominations shall be filed with Lisa Simonis at the Credit Union office at least forty-five days prior to the Annual Meeting, which is no later than March 9, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. As a member, you are entitled to vote for your Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting.
All members are welcome and encouraged to join us to vote, and discuss the plans and achievements of the credit union.
