“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all the precious and pleasant riches.”
I was honored to see the final structural beam being placed and secured into the new building. At the beginning of November 2018, we were able to plant many trees on our new headquarters site, including four apple trees that will help make our new building feel inviting while inspiring creativity. We expect to move our back office and Member Solutions Center into the new building by September 1of this year.
The excitement is palpable among our staff as we get closer to our move-in date. It is a very pivotal time for the credit union; that through hard work and dedication by the many individuals who have called CFCU their workplace home, and from the trust and loyalty of our membership, we are able to take this next journey to lay down our new foundation.
As we look forward to the future, we have enjoyed taking a look back at the many people and places that made us who we are today. We are grateful for the commitment and hard work of our board, staff and the loyalty of our members that have been our backbone and helped carry us to our new destination.
This building, to reside at the northeast corner of 15 Mile and Van Dyke in Sterling Heights, represents the optimistic, member-focused vision we have for our future as a credit union. Today, we are bursting at the seams of our current facilities, and the new building will allow us the room to grow. The new headquarters will help us better concentrate on the needs of our members and find innovative solutions to their everyday problems.
The new state-of-the-art facility will feature several different collaborative spaces that will be distinct from one another, giving staff the opportunity to change their environments throughout the day and equip them for tasks without being tied down to a physical location.
Christian Financial would not be what it is today without the great support of the people, businesses, and local government of Roseville. We want to reassure the community that our Roseville branch located at Martin Road and Utica Road will remain open and continue to service the surrounding community for many years to come.
For you because of you,
