What is a 1099-INT form and what do I do with it?
2/19/2021

If you received interest on one of your accounts in 2020, you could get a 1099-INT form.

So what is a 1099-INT?

A 1099-INT form is a tax form which records if your credit union, bank, or other entity paid you interest. If you earned more than $10 in interest, you’ll receive a 1099-INT. The form will have your taxpayer identification number on it, so you will want to be sure that it is included in your taxes.

How do I get this form from Christian Financial?

You will only receive a 1099-INT form if you earned $10 or more in interest in the calendar year. You can access these statements in Online Banking, simply navigate to the accounts tab, and select the statements option on the left hand side of the window. If you receive paper statements these forms should have been mailed to the address listed on your account at the beginning of the year.
